Hermes UK is rebranding as Evri, with a new logo and brand identity being rolled out across all its locations, vehicles and ParcelShops. Royal Mail is to roll out delivery photo confirmations for customers using its tracked services. The feature will give Royal Mail’s sending and receiving customers increased visibility of how and where mail is delivered. Boohoo Group hit by high returns levels

John Lewis Partnership boosts distribution capacity

John Lewis will open its new distribution centre, Fenny Lock, this summer, increasing its online capacity as a result. Made.com plans to halve lead times

Coffee subscription deliveries perk up

Coffee subscription service deliveries have seen a 105% rise in year on year sales, according to data from Awin. Hermes doubles local capacity with new Maidstone depot

Hermes UK is expanding capacity with the opening of a new distribution depot in Aylesford, Maidstone. Asos requesting trade discount from suppliers

DPD welcomes Britain’s first zero emission zone pilot

DPD has welcomed Britain’s first Zero Emission Zone (ZEZ) pilot, launched in Oxford. Tesco rolls out Gorillas to Manchester

Tesco is extending its partnership with rapid delivery firm Gorillas, to allow speedy deliveries in Manchester. John Lewis begins electric trial for Home Services fleet

The John Lewis Partnership is replacing its Home Services fleet with electric vehicles. The move comes as part of its pledge to move 4,000 cars, vans and light trucks to electric by 2030. GMB urges action from Asda as distribution strike looms
