Everyone talks the talk when it comes to the issue of giving customers more choice and convenience, and yet more than half of shoppers are displeased with the range of delivery options retailers provide them with.
And with ecommerce sales expected to have doubled across Europe between 2013 and 2019, and the cost of failed deliveries already starting to nudge tentatively at the £1bn per year mark in the UK, there’ll have to be a lot of innovation and service improvement to avoid bottlenecks and damaged reputations.
