Health food chain Holland & Barrett is to offer click and collect and returns services to its customers in a new partnership with CollectPlus. The retailer’s customers in the UK can now collect their online purchases from Holland & Barrett at more than 7,000 local convenience stores, newsagents, supermarkets, shopping centres and petrol stations across the UK.
The service will cost £2.99 for orders under £20 or free for order values that are higher. The returns service is free for all customers.
CollectPlus will confirm customer orders via email or SMS once parcels are available for collection and will send reminders after three days and seven days of the parcel arriving at the selected collection point. Orders can be tracked via the company’s app.
The retailer already works on home deliver with CollectPlus’ sister brand Yodel.
Geoff Shucksmith, supply chain and logistics director at Holland & Barrett, said: “As we continue to expand our online offering to provide greater convenience to our customers, a partnership with CollectPlus was a natural fit for us. For many of our customers, home delivery isn’t the most suitable option to fit around their busy schedules. Therefore, our online customers will greatly benefit from the added ease that CollectPlus can provide, as they will be able to pick up and, if necessary, return their purchases at any CollectPlus store at their own leisure and at a convenient time for them”
Commenting on the partnership, Neil Ashworth, chief executive at CollectPlus, said: “Our new partnership will put Holland & Barrett customers at the centre of the online shopping experience, allowing them to collect their orders at a convenient time around their busy lifestyles.”
