It’s now just over a month until eDelivery Expo (EDX) hits Birmingham’s NEC on April 5 and 6. The show is once again co-located with InternetRetailing Expo (IRX) with EDX celebrating its third year of existence in 2017 and a 45% growth since launch. It has earned its reputation as the place to be for anyone contemplating the future of ecommerce fulfilment and supply chain, operations, logistics and delivery (S.O.L.D) for multichannel retail.
Latest speakers to be announced include Karen Gibson, senior manager for toyou client relationships for Asda, whose closing keynote address in the Final Mile conference looks at Delivery disrupted- what’s on the horizon…could it be drones.
Wiolette Bogus, head of operations and customer care at Glossybox, will join Craig Wheeler, director of operations and customer experience at Feelunique.com in a panel discussion on Final Mile: Same-Day, Next-Day, Nominated Day & Time Slots.
The event consists of two dedicated conference tracks The Final Mile on day one (April 5) and Operational Excellence on day two (April 6). As well as the conference tracks EDX visitors will also be able to pre-book 30 minute one on one clinics with expert solution providers such as Experian, Exact Abacus and Parcel Warehouse as well as attend a programme of hands-on, practical, training focussed workshop sessions from providers such as Bronto and Billerudkorsnas and a unique workshop on day two between Profulfilment (ProFS), ChannelAdvisor and DHL.
Exhibitors at the show will also be sharing their latest news and products – including John Lewis’ latest automated handling systems in Magna Park 2 from KNAPP and a new packaging launch from Automated Packaging Systems.
