It’s time to discover the future of the retail nation at IRX and EDX

This year’s eDelivery Expo (EDX) is now less than a month away. We’ve already covered many of the highlights you can expect at the EDX show already but don’t forget that the event is also co-located with InternetRetailing Expo (IRX), giving you a true one-stop opportunity to get the latest thinking.

As well as a full conference programme under the theme of ‘Unveiling the future of the retail nation’ IRX will comprise 8 free-to-attend conferences including customer obsession, the product and beyond, from clicks to bricks, going global and many more.

IRX will also include a series of open theatres, which provide a platform for technology companies to explain their products to retailers, brands and other multichannel and ecommerce professionals attending the event.

These include the Digital Payments Theatre, where you can see some of the solutions available to improve the checkout experience. Payment technology suppliers will take the floor for 20 minute sessions, explaining how their solution works, and to which clients it’s most likely to be relevant.

In the Omnichannel Experience Theatre, the focus is on technology that provides customers with a joined-up experience that stays relevant and consistent even as shoppers move between channels.

Both the Digital Payments Theatre and the Omnichannel Experience Theatre will run throughout the two days of IRX and EDX 2017.

IRX, co-located with eDelivery Expo (EDX), and billed as the UK’s biggest multichannel and fulfilment event, will take place on April 5 and 6 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham. For the two days of the show this will become the meeting place for the retail community with more than 90 key influencers and members of the IRUK Top500, InternetRetailing’s performance-based listing of the 500 most significant retailers in the UK and Europe, set to attend.

Attendees can also get a 25% discount on their train fare to the NEC when they book through the IRX or EDX Visitor Info website.
